Veterinary Technicians
The Buffalo Companion Animal Clinic excels in many areas, one of the areas we are most proud of are our Certified Veterinary Technicians. We have 10 CVT’s that have a combined total of 61 years of experience! They not only love to take care of our clients’ special pets, they have 30 pets of their own.
Our Certified Veterinary Technicians all have two years of advanced training that allows them to wear many hats. If we look at their equivalents in the human medical field they perform the same duties as:

Certified Veterinary Technicians are required to obtain continuing education hours on a yearly basis. This enables them to keep abreast of the ever-changing aspects of veterinary care to provide the best for our patients and clients alike.
Veterinary Assistants
We are also extremely proud of our veterinary assistants. We have 4 assistants with 25 years of combined animal care experience. They are also animal lovers at heart as they have 20 pets of their own. Our assistants are vital to the care we provide and they also have varied job descriptions:
kennel manager, customer service coordinator and inventory manager. Above and beyond these duties they also help with patient care, maintaining our supplies and keeping the rest of our staff happy! They also receive continuing education as well to keep up to date on patient care and client education.
